Longines Conquest 3.655.4 White Ceramic/Mother of Pearl/Full Set
Longines Conquest
This is an interesting one, a bit of a bummer and one I kind of like quite a bit all the same...
This is a conquest from the mid 2000's, it's has Longines in house eta 2824, Sapphire Crystal, mother of pearl dial and a ceramic bezel. When this one came available we bought it right away without paying any particular attention to the details because it's incredibly rare and an awesome summer watch. First off it's not in great shape. One big dent and well used case says this watch has some life experience. Also don't think this watch will tell you the time at night because Longines apparently wanted to match the hands to the dial/bezel so they used paint instead of lume. Second, the original owner bought it with a brown leather strap instead of the standard white rubber strap and it was a poor decision so we are including a white Barton strap to make up for it. Because our commitment to our clients revolves around a great product I try not to wear around watches and of course once the images are taken the watch goes in a box so the pictures are accurate but it took a while to get there because I wasn't sure I could part with it.
Condition: Fair. The watch has scratches mostly on the lugs and the side of the case, bezel and crystal have small hard to see scratches along with one tip of a pin ding on the bottom. Movement is in good working order.
